We had 25 members, relaxed, had fun, made trekking last Saturday at Ambohimanga. ICe Club is a group of people without distinction like English, has its existence already 6 years ( Crazy about English). I joined there as a few months, but already I love .we talked about everything or nothing . We have a topic to debate each Saturday at Carlton Anosy as the members even suggested ( environment, social, sports,…) especially joke between us. Me personally I like to joke with my friends LOL..:). We have a meeting every Saturday at the Carlton Hotel and after depending on the availability of members, it was sports or watching a movie, a way to learn or improve our speech or enrich our vocabulary.

Our exit like we did last Saturday. It was a day full of relaxation out of routine and exercise, especially to see some historic place as the palace of Ambohimanga, that some of us never visited or other the second time. A royal palace Ambohimanga or once reigned king Andrianampoinimerina which is located 21 km north of Antananarivo.
This palace was declared as a national heritage 14/02/2001. Apart Andrianampoinimerina also had other kings that reigned there:

There is a place where the Sovereign gathered his subjects. The most historic place we visited as it is the over side hill and there are many historic and holy shrines ( tomb) or remains the « mpanandro », « mpimasy ». The kind of person who predicts the future, things that we can not explain. People visit this place to seek happiness, find solutions to their problems such as: diseases, unemployment, infertility or desire to have children.
Like any historical place in Madagascar, there are things we can not ignore the taboo forbidden to bring chicken, onions, garlic, bare feet before entering sacred places.
The thing we surprised, this is the « Tsimandrimandry » kind of tradition that the coast have also. A ritual to break the spirit of mpimasy or mpanandro to speak. He or She goes through in your body, thus, you must accept the game itself to evoke the spirit, dancing to traditional and rhythmn. The tsimandrimandry starts 6pm not finish that 6 am. There are 3 people dictate what ceremony on within this sacred place that helps you to solve your needs. Therefore return once your wishes or your dreams come true, You should contact back there to make offerings: ducks, geese, candy, rum…

Madagascar has several places historic holy places, traditions that many people still respect. Foreigners do respect us for the Malagasy people. Despite the youth of today, do not know that. It is time for parents to make or college visit. It’s a shame if you were questioning I never visited the palace of our king once…
